We met Susann as a client and after years of collaboration she decided to move to the "other side" of things.
She has a German degree in «Hotel & Tourism Management» and started her career abroad working 4 years in Thailand where she held commercial positions at Hilton Phuket and Hilton Cluster Bangkok. In 2017 Susann moved to the UAE heading the MICE department at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority with the remit of developing and incrementing MICE business to the destination as well as managing, from conception to realization, destination events and conferences in line with the Authority's long term strategy. This journey included the achievement of two guiness world record, the organization of tour operator association fam trips and conventions, the pitching of international sport events as well as the presentation of the destination at international b2b trade fairs, such as ITB, WTM, ATM and imex. In three years as Director of Sales & Marketing at a Hilton Hotel in Italy, she developed and executed the national & international leisure, corporate and MICE strategy with the main focus on hotel promotion, b2b contract negotiation and coordination of PR & Marketing activities as well as fostering stakeholder relations.
