The brief

Promotion of Tropical North Queensland region through the Italian travel TV show: Kilimangiaro

The project

Tourism Australia, in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland, in 2019 supported a media visit from popular Italian television program, Kilimangiaro. The show filmed in Tropical North Queensland was aired on major broadcast channel, Rai 3.

The broadcast generated 3 episodes, the first episode featuring main natural attactions of the region such as: Daintree and Frankland Islands, and since the great popularity of the content it was aired twice, on December 2019 and October 2020.  The second episode aired at the  ending of 2020 was focusing on the footstep of the biologist Mariasole Bianco discovering the underwater Planet and Great Barrier Reef through out main aquatic natural phenomes and interviewing the Master Reef Guide and Biologist Marine Alessandra Giannascoli.
