The Brief
To showcase the extraordinary natural beauty, rich culture, and unique experiences of the Maldives to the Italian trade sector — the driving force behind the promotion and sale of the destination in the market.
It is also essential to provide an effective platform for industry partners, enabling the creation of new collaborations, the strengthening of existing ties, and the sharing of the latest updates about the Maldives.
The Project
Tourism Hub organized a two-stop roadshow across Italy, meeting with tour operators and travel agents in Rome and Milan.
The program at both stops included one-on-one meetings reserved for tour operators, who had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from some of the most prestigious Maldivian hotel properties. Meanwhile, travel agents participated in group presentation sessions where updates and distinctive features of the participating resorts were showcased.
On both occasions, participants had the chance to conclude the events with an evening dedicated to discovery and inspiration, testing their knowledge of the Maldivian archipelago through an engaging interactive quiz with prizes. This was complemented by a pleasant networking and social moment, providing an opportunity to further deepen relationships between the guests and the Maldivian hospitality representatives present during the Italian roadshow.
