In November 2021 Tourism Hub was appointed to manage the press office activities in Italy for La Compagnie in occasion of the launch of their new direct flight from Milan Malpensa to New York, scheduled for April 2022.
La Compagnie: 100% Smart Business Class
Launched in July 2014, La Compagnie is an airline that exclusively operates a 100% Smart Business Class service. The airline provides regular transatlantic flights between New York Newark and Milan Malpensa, as well as Paris Orly, and seasonal services to Nice.
With competitive business class fares, La Compagnie's fleet consists of Airbus A321neo aircraft equipped with 76 seats that can recline to a fully horizontal sleeping position. Passengers enjoy dedicated services, including unlimited and complimentary Wi-Fi, access to airport lounges, and a distinctive in-flight dining experience with menus designed by renowned French, American, and Italian chefs.
Tourism Hub for La Compagnie: Press office & public relations activities in Italy, special communications projects
Tourism Hub set up the communication strategy for La Compagnie, delineating three key phases to enhance awareness of the airline and generate relevant media interest. The first phase encompassed a six-month pre-launch campaign leading up to the inaugural flight from Milan Malpensa. The second phase centered around the events and activities organized to mark the maiden flight. Subsequently, the third phase involved ongoing efforts to sustain market interest in the months following the launch. Remarkably, these endeavors yielded over 300 articles with a cumulative value exceeding 2 million euros within the first year alone.
In addition to ordinary press office activities, Tourism Hub manages special communication projects aimed at showcasing La Compagnie's distinctive business model, its advantages, and its core values.
This was achieved by engaging Italian media outlets, content creators, and notable partners, fostering affinity marketing partnerships. Notable collaborations included starred-chefs Lorenzo Cogo, Floriano Pellegrino and Isabella Potì, each of whom signed their own recipe for the onboard menu, the premium skincare brand Comfort Zone with its quality products contained in the onboard amenity kit, and the Italian illustrator Ale Giorgini, who created a special artwork dedicated to the route's first birthday, representing with his fresh and modern style the energy that connects the two cities.
