The brief

The primary objective of the Australia On Tour roadshow was to equip Italian travel agents with comprehensive training and knowledge about Australia's unique tourism offerings, sharing first-hand updates and news from Tourism Australia and the 6 partners: Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, and Singapore Airlines.

The project

Over the course of three days in Milan, Rome and Naples, our dedicated Tourism Australia team and partners engaged with almost 100 travel agents from various regions of Italy. The roadshow featured interactive training sessions, immersive presentations, and first-hand updates from a destination that is truly like no other.

This included also highlighting the many opportunities offered by the Aussie Specialist Program, which provides travel agents with a learning platform to craft personalized itineraries tailored to their clients' interests.

Three lucky qualified travel agents will also have the opportunity to explore the destination first-hand thanks to the prizes offered to the participants, a flight voucher and a camper rental voucher with a total value of 3000 euros, allowing them to experience on their own the diverse landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality that Australia has to offer.
