The brief
Showcase and position Saudi Arabia as leisure destination during TTG Travel Experience across the Italian travel industry.
The project
Our team supported the launch of Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination during the most significant tourism event in Italy - TTG Travel Experience by bringing together key partners and stakeholders to engage, inspire and connect. Along with 8 stand partners including 5 DMCs we promoted Saudi’s tourism assets and plans, demonstrating the destination’s commitment to tourism development.
With a state-of-the-art destination stand, featuring large inspirational videos and visuals, prominent branding around the fair and an interactive and engaging activation area in the main hall open to all visitors Saudi Arabia was the attraction point in this year’s TTG edition.
During three days of event, we counted a total of 600 connections on the stand with our team leading over 70 meetings with strategic key accounts, with the focus on discussing the development of long-term partnerships, future commitments as well as joined marketing initiatives. The PR team was able to secure over ten media interviews for the official STA spokesperson at the stand.
In collaboration with two Italian key TOs - Alidays and Kel 12 - we organized two training workshops with over 30 travel agents highlighting the diversity of Saudi Arabia, the natural landscape, heritage and culture.
Saudi was recognized as Official Country Partner in 2021, testament to its commitment and investment in the Italian market.Â
